Tottenham Hotspur and England Youth International footballer Andros Townsend has become a Patron of Olivia’s Vision charity supporting uveitis sufferers.
Speaking about his role within the charity, the Tottenham Hotspur mid-fielder, who is currently on loan at Championship side Leeds United, explained:
“I was eager to get involved with Olivia’s Vision. Raising the awareness of a disease that affects so many people, yet we know so little about is hugely important to me. Anyone who has met Olivia or knows her story can’t help but be touched by her bravery, and I’m very proud to be able to play my part in helping such a worthwhile cause.”
Nicki Davis, one of the Olivia’s Vision Trustees, added, ” We are delighted to have Andros Townsend as a Patron and believe his support will bring further attention to this destructive disease.”
