Following discussions with the MAB we have identified one of the major unmet needs of uveitis sufferers: namely the insufficient numbers of very specialist medics trained in the care of uveitis.
We have therefore decided to employ the funds raised so far to sponsor fellowship training in uveitis. The training of a new generation of uveitis specialists by rotation through three specialist centres will improve access to excellent patient care.
