Olivia’s Vision and Moorfields Eye Hospital

Olivia’s Vision will be attending the launch of a new initiative to encourage the international exchange of research and technology with regard to the study of uveitis.

The NIHR BRC for Ophthalmology, at Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, has entered into an agreement with the National Eye Institute (NEI) of the US National Institutes of Health, to promote human ocular immunology, specifically to encourage the transfer of technologies, scholars and biomaterials for the study of uveitis, AMD and diabetic retinopathy.

Olivia’s Vision has been invited to attend this prestigious event to represent uveitis patients. Russell Hamilton, Director of Research & Development at the Department of Health, and Bob Nussenblatt, Chief of the Laboratory of Immunology at the NEI, will be attending the launch event, as will Professor Andrew Dick one of the members of the Olivia’s Vision Medical Advisory Board.
