London Stock Exchange Awards Grant to Olivia’s Vision

Following our application earlier this year 2011, Olivia’s Vision has been awarded a grant by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Foundation.

Victoria Brough, a Trustee of the London Stock Exchange Group Foundation, said:

“The London Stock Exchange Foundation is delighted to be supporting Olivia’s Vision. We are particularly pleased that our funding has resulted in the creation of the first ever Olivia’s Vision research fellowship.

The Foundation is approaching its first anniversary and along with Olivia’s Vision we are pleased to have been able to support a number of organisations across the UK, Italy and Sri Lanka in the last twelve months. We look forward to the ongoing development of the Foundation and to making a difference to dedicated organisations, such as Olivia’s Vision.”

The award, together with other raised funds will enable the first Olivia’s Vision Uveitis Fellowship to commence in 2012. By sponsoring uveitis fellowships, increased numbers of patients will gain access to desperately needed specialist care and treatment.

Olivia’s Vision would like to thank the LSEG Foundation for their generosity and support.
